Hi Everyone,
Just a quick update, as from today we have been accepted for affiliation by British Riding Clubs which is great news and means that we can compete at Area qualifiers. The first of which is the Area Horse trials, Broadway on 15th June. Novice over the intro’course, intermediate over the pre-novice course and open over the novice course  (more or less) . Preliminary entries next week-please let me know if you are available.

Training clinics: Issy Manning, Wed evenings at Oakley Fm 6.30pm., 28th May, 4th  June, 18th June & 2nd July. Sue Frank Sat 10.30am 24th May,7th & 21st June.. Issy and Sue at Lincomb XC Sat 31st May, 3.00pm, contact Sue or Issy asap. Check website for updates & more details. For those who asked for Mandy Kent , she does clinics at Lincomb—see www.xccourse.co.uk for details. Am trying to organise some Paul Ingram clinics.

Roger has been very busy and the web-site is live at www.wyvern-riding-club.org, hope you like the logo—we thought he looked fun! Please visit the web site regularly as everything that’s going on will be on there. Please let us know if you have any problems accessing it or if you need information posting to you. It’s really helpful if you can acknowledge receipt of all e mails, then we don’t have to worry about accidentally missing someone out.

Mercian team competitions are coming up very quickly—Showing show 26th May, (have got 2 teams—do come and support them).Hunter Trials 8th June (2’ 3” & 2’ 9”) and Combined Training 22nd June (2’ 3” & 2’ 9”). Would be great to send teams-please let Issy or Sue know if you would like to have a go.

There have been some really interesting requests on the training forms. Several of you expressed interest in side-saddle. There is a side saddle master class on Wed 4th June, 7pm at New House Farm Equestrian Centre, Belbroughton Road, Blakedown DY10 3JH , organised by the Worcestershire County branch of the BHS. BHS members £5 non-members £7.50. Tickets on the night or in advance from Bev Hudson, 30 Oak St, Netherton, Dudley, W Midlands. DY2 9LJ. Take your own chair. I am intending going—hope to see you there. If anyone would like to car-share, meet here at 6.30pm.
